August 1958

Founded Guangzhou High-Voltage Electrical Appliance Factory.

January 1959

Successfully trial-produced the first 10kV-class SJ-320/10 power transformer and 110kV-class SFZ8-40000/110 oil-immersed energy-saving power transformer in Guangdong Province.

November 2000

The company was restructured into a new joint-stock enterprise. It was awarded as one of the Top 100 Private Enterprises in Guangzhou, Top 100 Enterprises in Guangdong Manufacturing Industry, and National High-Tech Enterprise. Meanwhile, it successfully trial-produced the 220kV-class SFSZ11-180000/220 high-efficiency energy-saving oil-immersed transformer, filling the gap in Guangdong Province.

2018

Supplied 230kV 40MVA power transformers for the 400MW Project in Dake Thar, Yangon, Myanmar.

2019

Independently developed the YBW12-6000kVA-10.5kV containerized pre-installed substation for the first time, which was included in the New Technology Catalog for Military-Civilian Integration.

2020

Awarded the title of "Guangdong Province Contract-Abiding and Credit-Reliable Enterprise".

2021

Guanggao-brand high-efficiency energy-saving oil-immersed transformers and dry-type transformers were awarded the "National Energy Efficiency Star Product" title.

2022

Awarded the titles of "Guangdong Province Specialized, Refined, Differential, and Innovative Enterprise" and "Guangdong Province Innovative Enterprise".

2025

Single-phase combined transformers passed the US UL certification and entered the US market in batches.
